Creating DVDs from your Video DVDedit is a small independent business Set up in 2005 by Michael Plant to offer a postal based video transfer, editing and DVD production service as a friendly and low cost alternative to the major video production houses. Who is our service for Based in a former farm house in Lincolnshire our services are designed around customers and clients sending their video and camcorder footage to us by post or courier. Customers and clients Our transfer and editing work comes from personal customers, schools ,charities, community services, local authorities, leisure centres, theatrical stage and event organisers, and small business projects, that's small projects not small businesses we have carried out editing work for the training and HR dept of an international petroleum corporate and we also receive regular work from some of the UK's major pharmaceutical foundations and corporations as well as small independent businesses. What services do we offer Our main service is producing DVDs from our customers and clients own recordings on video, camcorder tapes and DVD disc, with a range of services from straight transfers to full editing projects, we currently only work with Standard Definition Formats . All our transfer editing and DVD production work is carried out in house handling projects from 1 to 1000 DVDs (we don't use 3rd parties or sub contract any work out) Reputation A lot of our work comes from personal recommendations, so our prime objective is to offer a high quality personal and friendly service and judging by the feedback we have received since starting up in 2005 we are clearly achieving this (some examples of the feedback we have received are displayed on the side column of our website)   Our Key Principles Very Good Quality, Reliable DVDs : All our DVDs are individually made from your videos using high quality "A" grade DVD disc, digital hardware based computer technology combined with Pioneer industry standard DVD optical writers (we DON'T use DVD recorders). Working to our tried and tested formula for capturing from VHS video and camcorder tapes and producing DVDs, that combines good quality with high reliability and compatibility for both DVD players and desk / laptop computers with a DVD ROM drive built in. Every single DVD is individually tested by hand before being dispatched. Fair and Honest Pricing : All our prices are clearly listed with no hidden charges, if there is any additional cost for some of our services this is clearly labelled.  We understand that it is not always possible to know the exact duration of videotapes or sometimes if there is any actual recording on the tape, so we only charge for the work we carry out, and if there is any issues with your order we will contact you (normally by e-mail) to check our understanding of your requirements before proceeding with the work. Good Communication : We believe in keeping our customers and client informed at all times. We send an e-mail out advising of the safe arrival of the video tapes etc, regular updates on progress on longer projects and advise when the DVDs have been dispatched giving tracking ref  number if appropriate.
